The In Her Honor Chancellor’s Fund was initiated in 2019 to mark the 150th anniversary of the awarding of bachelor’s degrees to women at the University of Wisconsin. This fund celebrates lives marked by scholarly achievement and public legacy, as well as extraordinary lives devoted to family and community. Gifts will be used to support campus programs that make life better for women and the world better for all.

In recognition of your gift of $150 or more, you may share a story about your honoree (optional) to be posted on this website alongside other tributes. Your honoree’s name will also be featured on a commemorative honor roll in UW-Madison’s Memorial Union.
In Her Honor Champions
In Her Honor Champions help promote this giving program by making unique contributions on behalf of the women they have chosen to honor. These contributions include several projects in the Hamel Family Browsing Library such as two book collections, a photo exhibit, and a women’s table; as well as several meaningful tributes that they have shared with friends and family.
